PREP CAMP DATES:
The USJDP Junior Prep Camp is a three-week program available from June 21 - July 11, 2009. A player may register for 1, 2 or 3 full weeks if they so choose.

It is recommended to get the most out of the program that a player attends at least two weeks, however due to the intensity, speed, and skill level at the camp, it is not recommended to players under the age of 15 to register for all 3 weeks. 3 weeks is recommended for the older, more physically mature players.

PREP CAMP FEES
The cost of the Prep Camp is $625 per week for day campers (includes lunch and dinner daily on-campus), and $995 for resident campers. PREP SCHOOL, JUNIOR & COLLEGE RECRUITMENT & EXPOSURE:
The following teams will either have staff on hand to work with, evaluate and recruit the players at the camp, or will receive the comprehensive Player Evaluation report outlined below as an USJDP affiliated team.

WEEKLY GROUPINGS:
All Prep Camp participants are evaluated during the Sunday night evaluation skate and placed into three different groups based on their age and ability to ensure proper competition and development levels within the groups. Each group will be comprised of two teams and preliminary groupings will be posted on Monday morning prior to the days’ first on-ice session. These teams will practice with each other during every activity throughout the week, and will compete against each other on the week ending games Thursday-Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE: These groups ARE NOT FINAL and all players are subject to movement within the groups based on their on-ice performance at ANY TIME throughout the week. In fact, many players do get moved from group to group as the Sunday night evaluations are based on a 60-minute performance and are therefore very preliminary in nature. However, this is a necessary precaution to ensure the physical safety of each player in camp.

USJDP RESIDENT CAMPERS - 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Libby Hall
USJDP DAY CAMPERS - 5:00 pm, CU Arena, on-ice at 6:00 pm

PREP CAMP DAILY SCHEDULE:
The daily camp schedule will vary each week depending on number of groups. Each player will be notified of which schedule to go on prior to the start of camp, as well as each Sunday at check-in. The posted check-in times above are valid for all weeks regardless of group numbers. Number of groups is dictated solely by number of registered campers.

ROOM & BOARD:
Resident campers will reside on the campus of the University of Colorado. 3 meals per day will be provided and players will share a standard collegiate dorm room. All day campers will participate in all daily hockey camp activities and will be provided lunch and dinner on campus with the rest of the resident campers. Day campers will be responsible for all transportation to and from the rink. No housing is provided for day campers.
