Aaron Hoiland joins the Gustavus men's hockey program for the 2007-08 season as a volunteer assistant coach. Hoiland comes to Gustavus after having served as the head boys' hockey coach for the Le Sueur/ St. Peter High School program for the past three years. Prior to taking the Le Sueur/St. Peter position, Hoiland served as an assistant coach at the University of St. Thomas (2000-01), as well as the head coach at Mounds View High School from 1998-2000.

A Forest Lake, Minnesota native, Hoiland is a 1996 graduate of the University of St. Thomas. While at St. Thomas, he was a member of the Tommie hockey team.

Coach Hoiland lives in St. Peter with his wife Nicole and their children Zoe, Sebastian, and Ani.
