RMHS Teaching Philosophy
RMHS Mission
Rocky Mountain Hockey Schools provides the finest player development,
training and exposure opportunities for students of all ages and
skill levels.
We provide the finest hockey instruction available in an exciting
positive learning environment for players of all ages. We believe
that a player’s development is determined by his/her own dedication
and effort in conjunction with the teaching of a highly trained and
motivated staff. All activities and drills are designed to break
down and develop each player's critical skills through intensive
technique training.
Side by side with this intensive training
& development atmosphere, RMHS strives to create a positive,
'no-fear' environment at each camp, where it is OK to fall down,
it is OK to fail, and it is OK to struggle with an activity. If
the athletes feel safe and secure in their environs, they will feel
comfortable pushing the envelope. We make everything fun, and everything
safe, where children push themselves and aren't afraid to fail.
As we like to say at RMHS, "If you don't fall, you ain't trying!".
We truly believe this is one of the strongest attributes of any RMHS
camp. Due to the tireless efforts made by our staff, each player
is comfortable with what they are doing, learning what is being taught,
and most importantly, improving. RMHS prides itself on its teaching
skills, its ability to develop athletes, and most importantly, our
instructors. Our instructors are teachers and educators first, passionate
hockey players second.

"After working with Bryan and his staff at an RMHS camp, we were so impressed by the quality of their program that we hired them last year to run the the MAHA State Evaluation camp for USA hockey. As expected, they put on a great camp that was aggressive even for the high level players. Not only were they professional, but they had unbelievable rapport with players and parents that was reflected both on and off the ice. I would recommend RMHS to any level of player who is looking to improve their hockey schools and attend a great camp." |
